How are prices shown by karat?
The historical ounce price is converted to a gram price and adjusted to the purity of the selected karat, including 24K, 22K, 21K, 18K and 14K.
Why can local prices differ?
The displayed values are reference prices for raw gold. Jewelry shop prices may differ because of workmanship, taxes, fees, dealer margins and exchange-rate differences.
