How to use the gold calculator
Select a country, enter the gold weight, choose the unit and karat. The calculator uses the current raw gold price to estimate the theoretical metal value.
How is gold value calculated?
The weight is converted to grams and multiplied by the current price per gram for the selected karat. 24K has the highest purity, while 22K, 21K, 18K and 14K contain progressively less pure gold.
Is this the final jewelry shop price?
No. The result estimates the raw metal value and does not necessarily include workmanship, taxes, fees or dealer margins.
